PV Magazine reported early Monday that JinkoSolar (NYSE: JKS) has agreed to build a $410 million factory in Jacksonville, Florida with the help of at least $23 million of incentives from the city. JinkoSolar has been eyeing a factory in Florida for a few months, and the tariff announcement was apparently enough to push the deal over the edge.  

JinkoSolar's management team recently told investors that it is targeting to build the U.S. facility for around $120 million, GTM learned. That amount is well below the total projected cost of a $410 million facility under consideration in Jacksonville, Florida -- dubbed "Project Volt." The Jacksonville City Council has already approved $24.2 million in incentives to attract the unknown foreign manufacturer involved in those negotiations.

If the $120 million target is correct, Jinko's new factory could be separate from Project Volt or constitute a part of it. Local media reports state that the project involves two sites, and JinkoSolar's could be one of them. However, the facility cost and location could not be independently confirmed.

Die gelbe, bin mal gespannt, was die Schönredner nun sagen. Letztes Jahr wurde ich noch als Nostradamos bezeichnet, als ich € 13,- in den Raum stellte und nun????  

Ich seh gerade im minuten Takt . Ein schöner Morningstar mit Tief auf 14,726 hat sich gebildet.
Könnte vorerst das Tief gewesen sein. Mal sehn. Aus irgendeinem Grund will ich noch nicht kaufen.

If JinkoSolar doesn't have the cash flow to build a plant in the U.S., it may not be a wise decision to offer shares to build one given the short-term nature of the potential benefit of manufacturing here. I think this shows that JinkoSolar wants to be the biggest, but maybe not the most profitable, solar manufacturer in the world, which is a big reason to stay away from the stock

Wenn JinkoSolar nicht über den Cashflow verfügt, um ein Werk in den USA zu bauen, ist es unter Umständen keine kluge Entscheidung, Aktien anzubieten, um einen solchen zu bauen, da der potenzielle Vorteil der Fertigung hier kurz ist. Ich denke, das zeigt, dass JinkoSolar der größte, aber vielleicht auch nicht der profitabelste Solarhersteller der Welt sein will, was ein großer Grund ist, sich von der Aktie fernzuhalten
